To Apply Rainbow Masking

  1. Open a project or design file.
  2. Open the Workspace Preferences dialog by selecting Workspace > Preferences.

    The Preferences dialog opens.

  3. In the Preferences dialog, select the Symbology category.
  4. In the Rainbow section, set the resymbolization settings. Turn on Color, Weight and Style. Then choose the minimum and maximum color ranges, and the line weight and style.
  5. Click OK to close the Preferences dialog.
  6. Open the Utilities toolbox by selecting Tools > Geospatial > Utilities, then select the Rainbow Masking tool.

  7. In the Rainbow Masking tool settings dialog, turn on view window 1.

    Resymbolization quickly occurs within view window 1.

  8. Click All to resymbolize in each view window.
  9. Click None to turn off resymbolization.
